Talk through c section more. Wasn’t given any notice that pressure was being applied right before baby was born; not given the option to cut umbilical cord, not given option to do skin to skin. Husband wasn’t told he could go over to baby after delivery to watch him getting weighed, measured, checked, etc

He never made time feel rushed. Very knowledgeable and clearly outlined the available next treatment options. Was kind when I showed some nervousness towards a surgical option, even though that is ultimately what I anticipated would be the recommendation before the appointment.

Needs to be better about patient follow up and reviewing clients' charts and results after their appts

I appreciate his dameanor and he explained the next steps in a way I could easily understand. I had cancelled this same appt. With another provider due to the lack of explanation. So it seemed unnecessary. Once I seen Dr. Beardsley I was provided with the reasons behind the procedures and made me feel at ease with moving forward. I have complete faith in his abilities.

I already said in my comments about the overall visit, but I am so grateful for Dr. Beardsley taking his time to talk to me in detail about my concerns/results even when there is no clear answer as to what is going on. He did not rush things or make me feel like my concerns are not valid. I sincerely appreciate his knowledge and expertise.

I was not informed in advance that they would need to check my cervix at 34 weeks. Normally, this is done at 36 weeks, but because I had fetal growth restriction, which led to an earlier birth at 37 weeks, the procedure was done earlier. I understand why it was necessary, but it would have been helpful if I had been informed about this in advance so I could prepare myself. I only found out about it when they explained it on the day of the appointment. Additionally, after the overall check-up was done, we were usually led out or told that we were finished, but this time, no one mentioned anything. We assumed we weren’t done yet and waited for about 30 minutes. Since our usual visits end after the physical exam, we eventually let ourselves out.
