Alexa Dietsche, PharmD
Alexa Dietsche, PharmD is a PGY-1 Pharmacy Resident at MercyOne Genesis Davenport Medical Center.
Born and raised in Wisconsin, she received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2026. Alexa has prior experience in retail and long-term care pharmacy but ultimately found a passion for complex care and critical care which led her to pursuing a PGY-1 in acute care.
Her professional interests include critical care within the ICU and NICU, as well as teaching and mentoring through the University of Iowa PEPPR program.
Elaina Hines, PharmD
Elaina Hines, PharmD, is a PGY-1 Pharmacy Resident at MercyOne Genesis Davenport Medical Center.
She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree with a concentration in diabetes from Drake University in 2026. Elaina has prior experience in community pharmacy as well as ambulatory care and clinical research, where she developed a passion for chronic disease management and providing patient-centered care.
Her professional interests include ambulatory care, internal medicine, and teaching and mentoring student pharmacists. These interests led her to pursue a PGY-1 pharmacy residency at MercyOne Genesis, where she can further develop her clinical skills while gaining experience in acute care, ambulatory care, research, and assisting in teaching future pharmacists.
