Application and Interview

Eligibility: To be considered for the MercyOne North Iowa ARNP Match Program, individuals must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university's Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Program. Individuals are required to have two (2) years of full-time clinical experience in a patient care setting. Five (5) years of full-time clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred.

Upon meeting eligibility requirements, applicant must submit the application, transcripts and recommendation forms, ensuring that all application requirements are submitted at least six months before the requested start date for the first rotation.

  • Completed and signed. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
  • Email completed application to hoveys@mercyhealth.com 
• Official Transcripts
  • Official transcripts from applicant’s current ARNP education program and last completed degree must be sent directly from applicant’s school to hoveys@mercyhealth.com
• Applicant Recommendation Forms (from website).
  
• The recommendation form must be sent directly from each of the below individuals to hoveys@mercyhealth.com:
  • Professional Recommendation (i.e. someone you serve with on committee or have currently or previously worked with)
  • Current Leader Recommendation
  • Physician Recommendation

Meeting eligibility requirements does not guarantee acceptance into the MercyOne North Iowa ARNP Match Program. There is no waiting list. Applicants who are not accepted and wish to be considered for the following year must re-apply.
