The practice of modern medicine would be impossible without the tests performed in the clinical laboratory. Our medical team of pathologists, technologists, technicians and support staff work together to determine the presence, extent or absence of disease.  They are experts in their field providing data needed to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment.

MercyOne North Iowa’s Laboratory performs approximately 1.7 million tests annually for inpatients, outpatients and MercyOne North Iowa Reference Laboratory patients. We are accredited by the Joint Commission and are licensed by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act of 1988 (CLIA).
