Whether you’re visiting a loved one, here for an appointment or working a long shift, MercyOne offers convenient dining choices to make your time with us easier. From full meals to quick snacks and coffee, you’ll find options to fit your schedule and taste.
Dining services and locations
MercyOne Cedar Falls Medical Center provides an on-site cafeteria. The hospital is located a short drive away from Downtown Cedar Falls, home to many local dining and shopping destinations.
The Café
The Café offers a variety of pre-packaged, self-serve and cafeteria-style food items, including hot sandwiches, entrees and side dishes, soups, salad, deli sandwiches and desserts. Menus vary daily and are posted outside of the cafeteria's main entrance.
Weekdays hours
Breakfast: 6:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
Lunch: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Dinner: 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday hours
Breakfast: 8 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.
Lunch: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Dinner: 4:30 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Room Service
In-room ordering, call 4-4444 anytime between 6:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Patient meals are provided through Room Service. A menu will be provided with instructions and hours of service. If you are unable to order independently, please talk with the nursing staff. Room Service meals are also available for family members and guests to purchase.
Marketplace & Grille
Located in the main building, Level A, just east of the main elevators
The Marketplace & Grille offers a wide variety of food choices, seven days a week. Menus vary daily and are posted outside of the cafeteria’s main entrance.
Hot food is served daily:
6:15 a.m.- 9:30 a.m.
10:45 a.m. - 2 p.m.
4:45 - 7 p.m.
1 - 4 a.m. (weekends only)
Atrium Deli
The Atrium Deli, located at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center on A-Level, offers a variety of breakfast and lunch and is open weekdays from 8 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
MercyOne Starbucks
Located in the east tower, Level 1 (across from the surgery waiting area)
Offers a wide selection popular coffee drinks, specialty drinks, pastries and desserts. Starbucks gift cards accepted.
Hours:
Monday - Friday 6 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday 6:30 a.m. - noon.

The Café
MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center has an on-site cafeteria, with warm and cold food options.
Hours:
Monday – Sunday, 6:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Breakfast served: Monday – Sunday, 6:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
Lunch served: Monday – Sunday, 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Oelwein Medical Center provides an on-site cafeteria.
MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center provides on-site dining through the Compass Cafe cafeteria, located near the Visitor Entrance and A Elevators. Visitors can also enjoy sandwiches, pastries and beverages at The Daily Bread, located in the lobby of the MercyOne Waterloo Health Plaza.
