MercyOne Newton Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation offers a variety of different services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, diabetes education and nutritional counseling. Our team of licensed professionals currate custom treatment plans for every patient based on the thier individual needs.
Our team is dedicated to helping you function at the highest level, so you can perform everyday tasks and activities with fewer limitations.
In addition to therapy services, our team provides professional fitting of braces, walkers, crutches and canes.
Iowa Ear Center Audiology has leased space within the department up to four days per week and appointments are scheduled through Iowa Ear Center and then seen at MercyOne Newton in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department.

- Audiology – hearing testing and hearing aids (provided by Iowa Ear Center audiologists)
- Cardiac Rehab – six-week group exercise program
- Joint Success Program – Total joint replacement education program
