About MercyOne Laboratory
MercyOne Des Moines Laboratory, located within MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center, is a comprehensive hospital-based reference lab offering a wide range of diagnostic testing across various medical specialties. Operating 24/7, the lab supports over 25 communities within a 75-mile radius of Des Moines. Our team includes more than 200 professionals—such as pathologists, pathologist assistants, specialized technologists and technicians and essential support staff. The laboratory partners closely with Pathology Associates of Central Iowa (PACI) to deliver laboratory services, anatomical pathology and expert consultative support.
